Back To Kent

jazzy_dave There is some advantage of being in the hinterland between Kent and Sussex, with weeks living at Tim’s place ,and the occasional weekly stays at a friends in Brighton. TODAY I am travelling back to Kent to see my cousin and I will be back in time to watch the live coverage of Man. Utd versus Crawley Town in the FA Cup.
Thursday Tony came down from London to visit for a day ,and with Georgina we had lunch at Cote. I had the mussels starter followed by coq a vin washed down with mineral water. A two course lunchtime meal is £9.99 and for a French brasserie is very good value indeed.
Last night I had a buffet dinner down at Gekko. Been there before and it is always good value. Went round three times sampling different flavours. Then when I left to have a quick drink down the Northern Lights a malodorous perfume wafted from the nether regions. Loud too! Luckily nobody was around to notice it!
