The sibyls of weather forecasting were spot on once again. A warm hot sunny day, albeit cooled this morning by mist coming off the sea, as i traveled towards Birchington On Sea this morning.
First port of call was Faversham to draw some cash out and get some cherry and vanilla flavoured shag for the pipe.
In the Birchington branch of Cancer Research i picked up a T shirt, a book and some bric a brac items which included a coffee mug for Spot.
Also , from another chazzer picked up a very cheap copy of “The Yes Album” Yes (Atlantic) in the original gatefold sleeve.
Then caught a bus towards Herne Bay and two other charity shop visits in which i picked up some flip flops,a T shirt, a pair of Vans trainers, and some books.

The books are -
John O’Farrell “Things Can Only Get Better” (Black Swan)
Peter James “Dead Like You” (Pan)
Binjamin Wilkomirski “Fragments” (Picador)
Norman MacKenzie “Dreams and dreaming” (Bloomsbury)
On the way back stopped at a Tescos to get some salad stuff.
Another book arrive in the post this morning, from my brother, Miles Davis ,The Autobiography” (Picador). I have part read this book before but it will be nice to read it all again and complete it this time round.
After dinner spent the balmy evening in the garden with a cider , Henry Weston's 2011 Vintage (8.2 % ABV) , and a cool smoke of cherry and vanilla pipe tobacco, which Zoe commented on as being a lovely smell. They had a barbeque outside and it sure smelt yummy.
Two weeks to go before my return to the Sussex Coast, specifically Brillo down at the Northern Lights. I see that Ville has posted on Facebook his night there tomorrow evening. I would love to go.
Actually , thinking about it, i have a visit in Tonbridge and the Wells tomorrow ,so i could continue onto Brighton afterwards, take some vinyl, see Ville and come back in the morning the next day.So the Northern Lights then The Fish Bowl, the Market Diner and back.
