More RAM Needed (Techy Stuff)

The new wi fi dongle arrived on Saturday - a very small one and works fine with the Fujitsu laptop. It still seems to be slower than my old XP laptop. Probably because Vista is too unwieldy , and gobbles up quite a lot of disk space. I used AVG's Tune Up software , which had improved performance of the laptop. It did recommend though buying a IGB RAM card, which would improve performance further and would incur less disk transfers, and that with Vista tends to need IGB to run properly. I have seen IGB RAMS on Amazon for less than twenty quid , so it is an investment i might consider.
