Gothic Stories

jazzy_daveAnother day of travelling. First port of call is the Office before i go over to Maidstone for a charity shop visit and a meal over at Nando's.
Last night I watched Haven on the SyFy channel and caught up with the latest Sleepy Hollow episode. Haven is based on a Stephen King novella called "The Colorado Kid" whilst Sleepy Hollow is based on the Washington Irving story "The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow".
Then Phil texted me to come up to the pub. We were soon in midnight mode quite early (before 11 pm) as Fran was the only other person in the pub.
Currently reading the A.C Grayling book "The Heart Of Things". It is bit of mish-mash with some short chapters more interesting than others.I did start it from the middle but now reading all the chapters sequentially. Probably be finished by tomorrow.
