Brighton Visit

Yesterday i was in Brighton for my gig at the Northern Lights. I left here on the Arriva bus which got promptly stuck in some mud on a council estate in Sittingbourne. In the end caught a different bus to the town centre and caught the Sheerness bus down to Maidstone. Even with that minor delay I arrived in Brighton at 4 pm.
First port of call, after walking up Trafalgar Street, was to nip into Sandpiper Books, in which i purchased a hardback book for two quid. Then i carried walking up the hill to my second destination, The Evening Star pub.
There i had a pint of Dark Star Revelation Ale (5.7 % ABV) followed by a third pint of possibly Britain's strongest beer, Brodies Only Human (12.3 % ABV).

The North Laines at dusk
Brighton was very busy , especially the North Laines area. The pub was packed out, and it was difficult to move around in.

After my beer, i walked down to the Northern Lights , going through Ship Street ( as seen above) and walking down past some of the restaurants in the Lanes area.

Finally ended up at the Northern Lights.

The place got busy at around 9 pm, and was packed to the rafters. I upped the mood and customers started jigging to the music. One lass who was having a birthday party there gave me a kiss for playing some great music, well two kisses actually! I had quite a few commendations on the excellent choice of music that got them dancing (difficult to do in a such a small place) or jigging on the spot. Blow your own trumpet if nobody else does i say!
Finished at the usual time of 2 am in the morning. A great night.
Playlist will be put up here later as i had a bit of a problem with the word processor.
