Well, what a windy and sometimes extremely wet day with some respite late afternoon through to early evening. This morning Georgina and i had breakfast at Cage Rouge as it was a buy one get one free offer. We both opted for the English breakfast and it was delicious.

Afterwards GC dripped me off in town to do my mystery shop which was a purchase and return scenario. I dropped into 'Spoons for a drink in between , a pint of The Bruery Oatmeal Stout (5.5   % ABV) ,another Californian brewer.. It was very tasty.

This was about the time that it realty poured down. I am totally fed up with all the rain we have been getting. Anyway, i then caught a bus over to see my brother, He had a couple of moleskin notebooks for me and a 2010 CAMRA Beer Guide, plus a National geographic camera holdall.

Then i caught a bus to Hove to pop into the classical record shop to see Julian as i said i would in a previous post. Picked up an Alan Hovhness compilation from him.

Then back to Brighton to have one final drink at the Evening Star to sample the delights of a Dark  Star Bock which i think is around the same gravity as the other one.

I then headed back to Seaford.

Hovhaness was a great and prolific composer and No 22 a really nice piece.
