Oh Bugger I Fell Asleep

The route i had planned did not go to plan. First, the bus from Eastbourne to Hastings had to pull in sharp up the hill from central Bexhill to Old Bexhill to let an ambulance speed by. In the process, it hit some overgrown hedge and the mirror made a crunching noise and one of the doors to let people was smashed in. Glass everywhere. We had to get another bus to continue our journey.

When we finally arrive in Hastings , i had to run a bit to catch the bus going up to Hawkhurst. On the bus i fell asleep and woke up in Wadhurst on the way to Tunbridge. No chance of getting to Cranbrook now. Resigned to the fact that i did not get to the charity shop with the excellent range of classical CD's i continued my journey via Maidstone to Rochester and had a few beers at the Wetherspoons thee. Then i caught the train home.
