I will be catching up with this latest look into Georgian history (The First Georgians: The German Kings Who Made Britain) after the Rule Britannia one on music from the last three weeks. I have watched half of the first episode on the tablet already.

Presented by Dr. Lucy Worsley, this is telly that i will be watching. It is part of the Beeb's 18th Century season.
When i woke up this morning the sun was out. It has now clouded over and looks likely precipitation will be the order of the day and just when i thought it would be nice to walk to Sittingbourne, that idea might be scuppered.
This morning i found this lovely clip of Vaughan Williams exquisite "Five Variants of Dives And Lazarus" which i recently heard on BBC Radio 3. I had forgotten about this lovely piece of sublime music, and hence decided to share it with LJ readers here - Enjoy!
Takes my breath away every time i listen to it.
