jazzy_daveSo, finally, i did that Ben & Jerry Ice Cream visit in the industrial heartland of High Brooms twixt Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells. I tell you something, i will not visit the area again after six in the evening. It is a good walk to the Odeon cinema on the edge of the retail park from the High Brooms rail station and a good walk back, and no buses at that time of night. Arrived at 7. 45 pm with fifteen minutes to spare on the deadline.
I did curse a bit , but once i tasted that gorgeous orgasmic ice cream all my angst had melted away. I was upgraded to a two scoop cone, had a taster beforehand, and opted for one scoop of the Belgian choc flavour with the Fish Food flavour on top, that is the one with the marshmallow bits and chunks of choc in it. So in the end a very satisfactory visit and all paid for.
I then caught a train back to Tonbridge , and then transferred to one going via Miadstone and Strood before getting a return train back home. Arrived back at 11. 30 pm. So yeah a bit knackered.

This is the Phsih food one - isn't it gorgeous.

Date: 2014-05-29 01:57 am (UTC)I love Phish food. It's one of my favorites along with Americone Dream, Imagine Whirled Peace, Late Night Snack and Concession Obsession.
The scoop shop also tastes better although it can be very hard to find one. They insisted on putting the closest one at the state university so we went once just after spring break, but since it was spring break, the university had cut the power to that building to save money...
All the ice cream had melted and was unusable. We were horrified.
