I know, bit of a late post, but i have been watching telly , done some revision and inputted two reports from mystery shop visits i did today.Oh and reading friends' blogs here on LJ.

I hopped on the train to Chatham and covertly shopped Rymans and a travel agent. Bought myself another moleskin notebook in brown livery from Rymans which i get to keep and get paid for. YAY!

Weather , of course , has been glorious. Hated being stuck in the Office for two hours late afternoon. Hey ho!

The telly watching was an old Star Trek NG episode with Picard at the helm and an ITV drama called Endeavour based on the early police career of Inspector Morse, based around Oxford.

So what have you guys been up to today?

Picard was my favorite Star Trek Captain. Although I have to remind myself that there wouldn't have been a Star Trek without Captain Kirk.

I am currently reading Shatner's memories of those early Star Trek years funnily enough.

Picard is a good captain, but my favorite is still Sulu. Yes, he only appears in 1 movie as Captain of the Excelsior, and a few books...but still, I like the idea of his as captain.

I really like 'Endeavour' - Shaun Evans makes a great young More and I adore Roger Allam's character Fred Thursday :-)

Do you need Buffy? I could ask Willow to conjure up some dark forces for you.

Nah, the vampire works for the docinabox, and is kind of cute. I must get blood drawn a lot, as she always remembers me.

That sounds like a good day, sans being stuck in the office. I think I'm gonna pop on some Babylon 5 here soon myself. Something about space shows sounds really nice.

I work as a nanny for a family with two school age kids. I did my usual; went in the early morning and got then through the morning routine and off to school. Returned home to do dishes, a bit of shopping, and playing on computer. Returned to nanny job at 2:30 as kids came home. Had to stay a little extra, as the Mom had a wake to go to. Made supper and ate with kids, headed home about 7:30 when Mom got back. Now at home watching the Red Sox baseball game(although there's a rain delay at the moment).

I just got home from seeing Driving Miss Daisy. It was a recording of the stage play starring Angela Lansbury and James Earl Jones. It was filmed some place down in Australia. It was GREAT. :)
What do you covertly shop for at a travel agency?
Hugs, Jon

Must be kind of frustrating to shop for holidays and not actually get to take them. :(

I'm a fan of TNG as well.

Do you mystery shop often? I assume it's more for hobby than actual full time work?

I try to mystery shop three or four times a week, and sometimes do the occasional market research job. I also sell vinyl and CD's online. Plus just got accepted to do an exit poll at a retail chain for Saturday for £100. So i do okay.
