Date: 2014-07-24 08:20 am (UTC)I got to see Benny Golson live a few weeks ago. His sax playing isn't all that powerful these days (hell, he's 85) but he had some good stories to tell about the old days, and he had an incredible bass player (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5djV8XFO_o0).
