Oliver

I was beginning to feel sleepy when i posted the soul number. Then for some strange reason  i had a jolt. I am awake again. So i looked at FB to see a couple of posts that my bro had put on. Oliver, one of his two cats, has not been well. Losing weight and been suffering with diarrhea.

A gentle loving cat in his fourteenth year. I do hope the blood test is good news and yet i fear ... my heart goes out  to Mike . I am welling up inside .. oh fingers crossed .. words fail.

I'm sorry about Oliver. He looks like a loving cat. Fourteen is a grand old age for a cat. I have the same dilemma with Tom. He is twelve, thereabouts. I don't know how much longer I will have him with me.

My thanks to all of my brother's LJ friends who commented here and to those of you who commented on my journal over at Blogger. Thank you for your concern and for your thoughts and wishes. It is with immeasurable relief that I can say that Oliver's blood work revealed nothing sinister. All parameters were normal. It doesn't account for the diarrhoea that he still has and which would certainly contribute to the weight loss. So, we are now mixing probiotics with his food to try and normalise the gut. I will let Dave know how things progress.
