Normal Service Resumed
Jan. 26th, 2012 04:57 pmThis morning did the usual “computer buddying” with nobody to buddy down at the village library. It is nice to see cousin Tim back to normal again though and not go down the pub or bring whisky or cider home every day. The reason for him being normal is that he has run out of money. He had £40 on Monday and spent the whole of it in two visits down the pub on Monday.
He does annoy me in that respect, because I knew he had his money back from the washing machine débâcle and that he has pissed all that down his leg in booze. I kept finding hidden bottles of cider and whisky including a nice Irish one. The thing is now he will probably wants to bail him out for bus money Monday when his benefit money will be in. Tough, I might not have it and he will have to walk it.
Good news as well. Fran had got the all clear on her cancer.
So tonight I will relax to the biopic of the love affair between David Bailey and Jean Shrimpton set in the sixties and a Vogue shoot to New York,in the BBBC 4 drama “We'll Take Manhattan” at 9pm. I really do have the hots for Karen Gillan!
