After the music listening i decided to catch up on some telly watching. I rarely watch television these days and tend to use the laptop or tablet for watching. However, as cousin had downloaded a film from Sky Movies i watched that today.

So out came the 3D glasses, a couple of canned beers by my side,  and i watched "Gravity" in 3D. Great film, excellent special effects and Sandra Bullock was just brilliant.

I then watched a couple of New Tricks before watching the latest Doctor Who episode. Florence came in to watch TV with me and fell asleep on my lap.

That sounds like a peaceful and comforting evening. I am currently sitting on the couch beside my boyfriend while Dr Who is on in the background. We spend many evenings like that. I don't like Dr Who, but you can't have everything :)

Rather a lightweight episode, but then, that was after a few quite nice ciders - the roomie and I had determined it wasn't going to be a night of roving, so much as just perusing.

(Annoyingly, I'd realised one of the casualties of the failure of one of the old externals was my handy iTunes copy of Cats Don't Dance - which, as it was an accidental non-purchase, isn't available for re-downloading, quite reasonably. Pretty sure I have it on DVD somewhere here, though it might be simpler to dload it off Usenet. I'd love to find there's an HD transfer somewhere - it's quite a sorely under-appreciated work, in my opinion)

WOW, your computer has 3D?

Hi Florence. :)

I still have another 40 minutes before Dr. Who comes on. :)
Hugs, Jon

Hmmm Gravity sounds interesting.
I watched a couple of Robin Williams movies with my mom today: Jumanji, which we've both seen- and The Final Cut = which neither of is had ever heard of. It wasn't a happy movie- but it was different.

Sounds like a great day, and Flo would have loved it, too!

I have 'Gravity' on BlueRay - only 2D mind! But it is a cracking movie nevertheless.

Been getting into New Tricks via Netflix here in the US. Up to the 3rd series. How popular is it in the UK? Do you know if there's fandom for it? Fanfic etc.
