Last week whilst at the Office i took part in a 70 question personality test. The results were quite illuminating.

Linguistic 34
Spatial - Visual 30
Musical 29
Logical - Maths 28
Intrapersonal 25
Interpersonal 24
Bodily - Kinesthetic 18

Somehow, i guessed, a priori, that the linguistic would come up first, despite my terrible tying habit, and not noticing the typo till much later.

To answer some of th comments - There was seventy questions each with an agree somewhat or agree definitely and their opposites with no middle ground, with a number assigned to each from one to four. A potential total of 280, but as to how these figures work out, i am somewhat bemused. I did each question and gave a number between 1 and 4 for each, and the tutor totted them up. They did say that the higher a score was the better that attribute is for certain jobs, i.e a librarian.

I hate personality tests! They always leave me looking like the standard TV serial killer... ;)

So, these numbers, what were they 'out of'?

That sounds too complicated for me!

Thanks for explaining, though :)

Yes, agreed. Remember the old adage in The Prisoner, "I am not a number".

I would have thought music would have been higher. :)

Yes, that was surprising.

Does this refer to musicality or knowledge of various music genres?

Some of the questions related to things like remembering a piece of music or lyrics and humming it. So in a sense it was rather to do with musical knowledge rather than ability to play a instrument.

What kind of test was this and what for?

It was something from America that the tutor found and thought was amusing. I shall try to find from Pete where it came from and will get back to you.
