Traveled over to Deal to do the other gift aid project of the three towns i am doing each week. At first it was closed due to criminal damage the previous day but opened again after midday, after i did a second visit in the town. I found three CD's in a charity shop going half price at fifty pence each. These are -

Various Artists - Cafe Do brasil (Metro)
Neil Young - Harvest Moon ((Reprise)
Rain Tree Crow - Rain Tree Crow (Virgin)

Rain Tree Crow are the band that David Sylvian formed after the demise of his previous group Japan. The Neil Young album, of course, is a classic folk rock recording from 1992.

I had a lunch and drink visit in Canterbury at the West Gate Inn. Curry night, so i had the hottest available with a pint of Summerskills Ninja Beer (5.0 % ABV) and a Portobello Road gin and tonic.

Tomorrow most of the day in Sittingbourne at the Office.

Harvest Moon is actually from 1992. It's a brilliant album whenever it was recorded, though. I especially love the track "From Hank To Hendrix."

Just realised. Got it mixed up with After The Goldrush.

Sounds like a good day!!

I'll leave the hot stuff to you - I can't deal with 'heat'!! My tongue actually gets little raised bumps that HURT when I do hot. My Hubby and my boys would all be happy to join you, though!!

I wish I could say I liked Neil Young because he is a classic, but I just can't stand his voice. :p

I know what you mean about that voice.
A few of his songs, it works for,
but not many...

I have the same problem with James Taylor.

I usually like Bob Dylan songs better when someone else sings them.

On this album it is not too bad. I know what you mean but it is quite soft.

How hot was the hottest curry? Did you cry from it? :p

Ha no, Wetherspoons curries are not that hot, but the Green Dragon one is their hottest. More spicy but still makes you sweat a bit.

I know what you mean by "criminal damage"
but I wouldn't be surprised to find something in The Daily Mail
about misplaced sympathy for damaged criminals...
