On reflection it was just too obvious that Missy would be the Master, despite Moffat saying that he would not bring that character back. I was quite disappointed that my guess was confirmed. I do wish it was The Rani or even Jenny from the audio books.

Also, the Tardis does not need all those keys as both Clara and the Doctor can snap their fingers and the doors opens. Some illogical moments like these and why do Cybermen need the minds of recently passed away people spoil the show and defy explanation.

Overall, enjoyable but i was hoping for another twist that Clara would have been a nemesis. We had an inkling that she might be.

I agree, I wish it had been The Rani, as did many people. On the other hand, they have been going with a classic Doctor and it seems all his classic enemies. Given how far off the beaten path they have gone over the past seasons, I guess this is ok.

I agree, where are they going with Clara? I hope this is not a typical Grand Moff writes himself into a corner thing, though.

Seconding this--please add a spoiler cut. The episode only aired last night! I don't go seeking out things about Who before I've seen it but when it just pops when I'm scrolling through my FL I have no choice.

It's too late for me but maybe we can spare the innocent eyes of someone else. ;)

The Cybermen have always used people. Alter the brains, strip away the organic, replace with machine parts. Snatching the consciousnesses of the dying streamlines production, presumably. Just a simple bit of software editing, and then download the newly hived mind into a Cyberbody. It's a pretty good idea, but I don't think it really needed forty-five minutes worth of set up!

I got a phone call part way through the episode. I feel a little lost. That and I kind of lost track of the show the last season or two. :o

But the Moof loves to rewrite things to fit his short term story needs, re: the keys.
