I watched this programme from BBC 4 on Sunday night, a classic first episode of Carl Sagan's superb Cosmos TV series. Brian Cox rated him as one of the finest scientific TV presenters. Here is that full episode for you to enjoy.

I love Cosmos. I will forever hear Carl Sagan saying "billionzz and billionzz..." Have you seen the new incarnation with Neil de Grasse Tyson? He is a worthy successor.

Also, since you like Cosmos and you like music, check out Symphony of Science. Beautiful stuff.

I vividly recall watching Cosmos in fall & winter of 1980- 1981.
