I pottered around Seaford today and took some pics, before our big doo at the tapas bar this evening.





Had a pint and a half of Harveys Chrstmas Ale here (7.5 % ABV)

Harvey's are as good a reason as any to live in Sussex. ^_^ They offer such a great range of brews, from the classic Best, to those fantastic Christmas and Old Ales. Sadly, our local brewery tends to stay very much within their comfort zone, with the IPA and Blonde winding up rather close to each other, seldom venturing above 4.5%. Still, there are a few other notable outfits in the county, such as XT and Chiltern.

Yay tapas! From the moment I discovered the style, I was an immediate fan - you get to enjoy such a variety of wonderful tastes, from classics like Spanish omelette and patatas bravas, to whatever particular favorites the chef's concocted. =:9 Sort of like an unstructured tasting menu. ^_^

Whenever i am staying in Seaford with my best friend GC it is pub i gravitate towards. The ales are cheap. That Xmas ale was only £3.40 a pint. They also do a local cider called Pigs swill which is strong and fruity.
