UGH...frigging asshats. Love the 'shift the bullshit' ideas here. Yes, I'm sure they are blaming the poor for the predicaments the government first put them in, then kept them in and are now killing them for. And now it's CYA time.

And here the job network providers, who are doing some of the social security dirty work, have been exposed to be rorting the system. They are getting thousands while the unemployed and otherwise vulnerable people are getting stuff all. This has got to stop!

And well, well. All that panicing about our population getting older so there will be less people paying taxes...so they thought. Turns out our population is getting younger!

And at last it has been said. it's all very well for older people to work past retiremnt age, if they want to, but it should be if they want to due to factors of age, health, mental health and good old enjoying one's retirement years which one is entitled to if one has worked hard all theri lives! Plus, there are so many young people who can't get work. The 'past retirement people' should not be taking their jobs! And young people should be taking up the burden, not old people being forced to continue carrying the burden!

As for not thinking we should be entitled any more, how about those 'titled' people being 'lifters' rather than 'leaners' for once?

No no don't apologise. I agree with you wholeheartedly. You are right on my wavelngth with everything you have said. It makes my blood boil to see this happening and that we seem to be going back to the bad Victorian times.

Exactly what I have been thinking. Back to the bad old Victorian times. Don't they realise that some middle class people noticed all the poor and did something about it? After all, even if selfish, they got disease from the poor people and also their things stolen eg cutlery, handkerchiefs. Is that what they want again?
