I popped over to my brother's place midday to watch the Blu-Ray of The Imitation Game , starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Alan Turing. What a great film, and well acted by Benedict.

I am now in the Evening Star pub. It is raining outside. I am quaffing a pint of the Dark Star Revelation ale (5.7 % ABV).

I enjoyed it but was also disappointed, classic case of having too much fore-knowledge going in to the movie. The Poles had so much more to do with their amazing Bombes, it's also questioned whether Turing's death was suicide or accidental poisoning. Regardless, it is horrible what happened with how he was treated by the government.

Will I buy it? Undecided. Benedict's performance was definitely top-notch, though.
