Funnily enough I was looking this up for further information on a release date this afternoon, as I thought it had been ages since I last heard anything about it. But it's just saying "sometime in 2015".

Spin offs and sequels.
It was inevitable. :o

Would you recommend watching or avoiding S4 of Heroes? The roomie advised me to leave it with the end of S3, but I sort of feel the need to venture further anyway. =:)

If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't do it. It really starts to ruin the whole thing. But, that said, this was pre-super hero mega franchises. And, it's entirely possible that a "ruined" story arc makes no real difference today.

Eef. Mm, maybe I'll leave it lie there a while longer. ^_^; It's hardly as if I'm desperately short of TV to watch - even disregarding older series, current ones I'd like to try catching up with include Orange is the New Black, and Extant; and I've heard plenty of good things about Transparent and Orphan Black, too. Despite all the wonderful stories to be found therein, I keep finding myself drawn to LJ instead - as lovingly crafted as they all are, watching TV remains rather a passive activity, versus the effervescence of LJ. ^_^ (I do stay up to date with MasterChef, however =:)

I tend to agree. I only watch two programmes on SyFy channel and then the quiz shows on Monday and friday on the BBC, and that is it. LJ is way more fascinating.

I'd do that. If you were into it, to the point where any little tidbit is worth it, I'd say go for it. But, if you need continuity with the story, like me, then stay away. But, ya know, not needing continuity and really liking characters is the main reason fic remains ever vibrant. (lucky too because some of the best writers from the past 15 years honed their skills in fic) So, really, it's just about what you get out of storytelling.
