Not really all that close, but I am friends with the sister of the actor who played Buffy's boyfriend, Riley
His name is Marc Blucas.
I think I actually helped him get the acting gig. I put together a highlights tape of his basketball career at Wake Forest University. He was trying out to as an basketball playing extra in the Whoopi Goldberg movie, Eddie. He got the job and later went on to 'Buffy'
Yeah, not that close to Sarah Michelle Gellar, but close as I can get for you!
