Down to Sussex

Another long day as i left the village at 8. 30 am this morning so i could get all the way down to Hastings, and then Bexhill and Eastbourne to do two mystery shops for one of my American companies. Both done now, and i am currently in The Bedford , Tunbridge Wells, having a couple of pints at the happy hour price of £2.50 each.

My lunchtime beer stop was at this pub in Hastings.




...where i had this sunny Californian ale.



All it needed was Buffy to drink it with me, in reference to Season 4 episode 5 "Beer Bad".

I invite the honorable gentleman into partaking of Stone Brewing's wares, notably their deservedly renowned Arrogant Bastard Ale. ^_^ (And the couple I've tried from Green Flash have been good, too - but I'm generally much more familiar with Bay Area breweries than SoCal)

BTW, I presume you're a CAMRA member? Just the Wetherspoons vouchers pay for themselves. ^_^ (For anyone unfamiliar, membership comes with forty coupons a year, each good for 50p off a pint of real ale or cider. It's difficult to argue with a good pint for under £2 =:)
