I have a strong presence of Heads (both Talking and Just), Byrne, and Tom Tom Club on my phone and I can listen to music all day at work on my Bluetooth speaker. Regardless if I'm listening to certain curated lists or shuffling Rock or All Songs, they come up quite a bit. I've been gaining increased appreciation of David's solo work, but I still think he was best with Tina and the others. His album with St. Vincent is interesting as are his works with Brian Eno.
Oddly they don't appear much in my Vivaldi/Mozart play list.
I got to see The Heads (sans Byrne) in Tempe 20some years ago near the venue that I saw Thomas Dolby. Both were excellent shows.
How were Talking Heads as a live show? They're easily amongst those I wish I could've seen. (Not to mention Oingo Boingo, who'd played their Halloween finale a few months before I even heard about them)
I think my favorite video of theirs, for me, remains Road to Nowhere. (Such a pity it wasn't apparently produced on film, so we're stuck with SD)
