Another leas known British composer is Havergal Brian, a very prolific composer, as here is his Symphony No. 31.
He composed this piece when he was over 90 years old.
Performed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Charles Mackerras.
Next up, a less well known American composer, Ned Rorem and his Symphony No. 3
Performed by the New York Philharmonic conducted by Leonard Bernstein (premiere recording from 1959).
