That was amazing. What I particularly like was how he was aware of and grateful to the people who had helped him and was already setting out to do the same for others.

They do keep spending less and less money on education and it gets harder and harder for people to BE educated. This young person is an exception. There will always be some very intelligent young people in the poorer economic group. Education should always be free so that people can take advantage of it and make the most of life instead of becoming trapped in the poverty cycle. Kudos goes to this young person for working so hard, but not everyone will be able to achieve this. And a person should not have had to go through what this person did to gain that education. Having to get free weetbix is demeaning, too. There should be a student allowance which is enough to live off - that is, pay for rent, food and a few clothes. (I left home with very little in the way of clothes and had to make/buy some of mine in my first year of uni.)
