poliphilo. It is something out of the ordinary, especially for ITV.
This series follows country vicar Merrily Watkins, who is a women vicar working as an exorcist in the UK. When a grisly murder takes place in her local area, the police come calling for her assistance. The evil here is real invasive evil, not the Hammer horror type if camp eval. Real and menacing evil from the other side. It is spooky, with moments of gut wrenching horror and th lighting suffused in a ghostly pallor. An edgy drama that i shall look forward to with the next two episodes.
