I always feel sad leaving Brighton. It is a buzzing city , and the place i lived in for many years. Anyway, less wallow and more pics as shown here -

Brighton Royal Pavillion , a side view. It was built in three stages, beginning in 1787, as a seaside retreat for George, Prince of Wales, who became the Prince Regent in 1811. It is often referred to as the Brighton Pavilion. It is built in the Indo-Saracenic style prevalent in India for most of the 19th century. The current appearance of the Pavilion, with its domes and minarets, is the work of architect John Nash, who extended the building starting in 1815.

Definitely, Brighton's one of those places I can be energised by simply through being present there. It's wonderful. ^_^ The Evening Star's not a bad micro-example - the range of conversations one can hear reminds you of just how eclectic Brighton society is, not to mention the varied flyers for local events.

BTW, how's that huge tower coming along? I've still not managed to get along to see for myself. Their site seems upbeat, at least, suggesting a Summer 2016 opening.
