[Error: unknown template qotd]I really do believe in the supernatural. The nearest experience to it i had was at the local village pub a few years back.. I felt a cold chill around midnight during a session in the pub. My friend, Phil, who use to run the pub can count a few more episodes like that. Then there was the telephone ring but nobody called during another night despite that phone not working at all . This spooked one of the lads working in the pub at the time.

So yes, and as i watch programmes like Charmed and Buffy ans the mythology surrounding witchcraft then i guess i do. Some things as yet can be explained in a rational manner and such supernatural events may well fall into that category. I have an open ind to these things because if you transported somebody from the tenth century to our time everything would look like magic.

I would like to have some witchy powers , used for good of course (cackles) - it would be great fun.

I don't believe in the supernatural. I've encountered things I personally cannot directly explain (e.g., UFO sighting), but nothing for which I do not believe a rational (i.e., not supernatural) explanation exists.

As for why not, because I have no reason to believe there is any such thing. Occam's Razor.

As far as I know, there is no scientific evidence for the supernatural. I sort of avoid it in books and videos.
You would have to tie me in a chair to watch those old tv shows. I realize it's very popular, but vampires are out, and zombies seem to be the rage. I wonder if a element of the appeal is the horrific violence, but since these things are evil and already "dead " it's acceptable?

Very cool. I've not had that happen - yet, but there's always hope.

Some of Buffy's world I wouldn't mind, but other bits, not quite as much.

I keep an open mind on the subject.

I've had a couple of experiences that are hard to explain, but who knows?

I have never had an experience, unless you count deja vu feelings.
But I do believe there are other levels of beings. :o

I heartily believe, myself. I have seen and experienced many things that cannot be explained by science - and I believe that if we can concieve of it, it just might exist. A lot of stories could be explained by cross-cultural pollinization...except for the weensy fact that some creatures and phenomena were found to be well grounded in most established civilizations centuries before communication lines were opened for them.

If we can think of it, it likely can exist in my mind...

I don't beleive in the supernatural and can find an explanation for most things. I have had one weird experience I can't explain, though :)

I believe, too. Not necessarily in monsters and all that, but in "powers" and beings we can't explain, and especially - from personal experience - in past lives.
