Just Wondering
Nov. 23rd, 2016 11:42 pmf you could have an unlimited storage of one thing, what would it be?
Have you ever re-used a single use item?
What's the silliest thing you have heard people say about you?

Date: 2016-11-24 12:16 am (UTC)How about unlimited storage space for all my junk? LOL........
Oh I am sure I have. lol...
A coworker told me that another nurse asked her if I did drugs because I always seemed so relaxed. Nope, just naturally a chilled person. lol...
Hugs, Jon

Date: 2016-11-24 12:25 am (UTC)Every day. I'm quite sure you're supposed to pop off the little floss attachment on my flosser, but I use it over and over and over. I rinse them.
That I was found passed out in the bathroom of a Denny's with a heroin needle in my arm.

Date: 2016-11-24 03:29 am (UTC)If the first, money, obviously.
If the second... well, if it was one general *class* of stuff, Food. More restricted than that, um, I dunno. My main space restrictions are on "space inside the house for everyone to use", not "this one thing takes up too much space."
I've re-used a lot of containers that are supposedly throw-away.
I was once called a member of the literati elitists, which is about as silly a thing to say about me as anyone could imagine.

Date: 2016-11-24 05:05 am (UTC)Disposable wooden chopsticks. I have some that are probably well over 15 years old. Also: plastic spoons (they don't last as long as the chopsticks though, plastic is less durable), because they are great for boiled eggs. Takeaway food containers.
I have been told people think I am "quirky". Which implies that sometimes my behaviour is odd. Which is clearly not true. :D

Date: 2016-11-24 09:22 am (UTC)Yes, all the time. I am a Wastebuster, after all. For example, I might re-use a margarine container to store leftovers in (but not very often. It's more Caring Lady who does that sort of thing).
One boyfriend hurt himself once and when people asked him what had happened, he told people I did it - and they believed him! Until I told them such was not the case. He was just joking. He said it in front of me, not behind my back.

Date: 2016-11-24 12:46 pm (UTC)Oh, yes. We reuse containers all the time. I also make three mugs of tea with a tea bag instead of just one.
No idea.

Date: 2016-12-01 04:52 am (UTC)Books or clothes. I don't have enough storage for either at this moment...
Yep...bottles and containers that are 'disposable'.
My bully told everyone (No one believed her, though I did get asked a lot just to make sure) that I took off my shorts and stuffed them up my...'down under' at camp.
