More jottings
Sep. 30th, 2005 11:51 pmHello me dearies as Ivor Cutler would once say.
Listening to Wilco from "The Wilco Book" at the moment ,which i purchased quite a few months ago beforwe the journal.Very experimental Cd too.
Been to Yapton today to do a survey on behalf of the Co-op there.
I must admit i only got into Wilco when they released "A Ghost Is Born" but listening to this and their "Hotel Foxtrot Yankee" CD and watching a rental of the Wilco DVD has made them more rounder and fuller than i would have imagined. Jim )'Rourke produced both albums and his influemce is felt throughout the whole enterprise.
Recent editions today to the expanding collection are classic rootsy reggae msic by Burning Spear "At Studio One" (on Soul Jazz),the latest Devendra Banhart "Cripple Crow" and from 1990 Ali farka Toure "The River" on World Circuit from Snoopers for £4.
My flowqdw of words aren't gelling tonight and i have to be up dead early tomorrow for a 7.30 am start observation study again in Caterham's Tesco.
Well that's ll today.
