So Rochester has its new station open. More central to the town and yet bleaker and so mundane looking , plus not close to my favouirte canned beer emporium. I still prefer the old one,
I came back that way after doing Paddock Wood and Sevenoaks. Paddock Wood charity still closed so i shall have to email the research company about the problem.

Arrived home to find four more Xmas cards. Total now eight. Thanks to LJ friends [livejournal.com profile] cmcmck ,[livejournal.com profile] in_the_bottle,and [livejournal.com profile] crazybellatrix, plus bro, Rosalind and the two cats.

In Sevenoaks picked up some books and DVD's going reasonably priced from my covert shop.

The books form yesterday and today are -

Plus two DVD's and a couple of CD's.

She was part of that punk movement. Knew Malcolm McClaren whom managed the Sex Pistols. Also a fashio designer for bringing modern punk and new wave fashions into the mainstream. She came to public notice when she made clothes for Malcolm McLaren's boutique in the King's Road, which became famous as "SEX". It was their ability to synthesise clothing and music that shaped the 1970s UK punk scene, dominated by McLaren's band, the Sex Pistols

I was unaware of that Saberhagen Sherlock book, interesting. He was a pretty cool guy. He lived in Albuquerque and was a regular at Phoenix SciFi cons, he also worked with a game company that I worked at and I got to meet him a few times.
