Daunting

I have just used the LJ nudge faculty to see whom of my LJ friends have not posted for awhile. It is quite daunting really to see how many have disappeared one way or another. Makes me thankful for the ones i still have here.

I miss some old friends as well. Nudging works 10-20 percent of the time.

I don't think the nudge factor really means anything, if the person say doesn't have an active e-mail..

In many cases, I think folks have moved on to other Social Media platforms and blogging sites. I think a lot of people still have accounts... they just don't use them anymore. That's a shame, as I think LJ is quite easy to work with. And it's easy to link to other places as well. If not automatically, one can always post a link to a post here on LJ.
