Thinking& of the controversy over the Doctor Strange film, here is an older version from 1978.

Dr. Strange is a made-for-TV movie based on the Marvel Comics fictional character Dr. Strange, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. It was both directed and written by Philip DeGuere. Stan Lee served as a consultant on the film, which was created as a pilot for a proposed TV series.

I actually saw that more than once. I think my local UHF station had a copy. Not great, but they did what they could with a limited budget, including an appropriately Psychodellic Other Realm

You know, if Stan Lee had created a character known as "Super Poop", they'd make a movie out of it and kids (of all ages) would be experimenting with super poop all over the place. When you've got the golden touch, anything you touch turns to gold. Such is Hollywood.
