Cheapies from Clapham Junctiom
Oct. 7th, 2005 08:04 amOn the way back from London yesterday i stopped at Clapham Junction as i had a few moments to spare. Popped into a charity shop which was still open as most close about 5pm or earlier.
Whilst there found two CD's for a £1 each. "Tower Rocks,The Warner Years" Various )WEA) with tracks by Love,The Stooges,MC5.Alice Cooper,Echo and The Bunnymen, Jesus and Mary Chain,Television and Primal Scream.
The other is called "Loud Proud And Punk" (Nectar) with tracks by the Damned,The Undertones,Buzzcocks,New York Dolls,The Jam,Dead Kennedy's,Stiff Little Fingers,The Vibrators,UK Subs,The Adverts "Gary Gilmore Eyes",etc The compilation came out in 1994 and 1996 respectively.
