I decided to do my 7 tracks early this week due to work commitments on Friday which i will have gone early and be late back. So here we go -

1/ Oxbow - Curse (from CD "Fuckfest")
2/ The Books - Be Good To Them Always ("LOst and Safe" CD)
3/ Mudhoney - Who Will Be The Next In Line (Mojo cover CD)
4/ Leadbelly - Grasshopper In My Pillow ("The Definintive Leadbelly" 3CD Box)
5/ Frank Sinatra - That's Life ("Reprise Collection" 4cd box)
6/ Ian Helliwell - Transitions 4 EP 7"
7/ Mozart -- String Quartet no.22 KV 589 ("String Quartets" Quartetto Italiano 8cd box)

Why stick to 7 though? Apart from the 7" single most of these are being played in rotation on my MP3 player ss well.

I wonder what Steviecat will select?

I was in Lambeth doing a survey and visited Gramex , a classical music shop i haven't visited for quite a few months. The store is in the back street behind Waterloo Station. They now have expanded their secondhand range to jazz, soundtracks and spoken word. Well actually they are not all secondhand CD's as most are new or newish overstocks and guaranteed. They are mostly overstocks or purchased from large private collections and usually quite cheap. Bought 2 CD's - "James Macmillan "Seven Last Words From The Cross / Cantus Sagrados" (Catalyst 1995) and Cecil Taylor "Olu Iwa" (Soul Note 1994) for £5 each.

Before I left for London purchased an LP from Fopp here in Brighton. Lonnie Smith "Afrodesia" (Groove Merchant 1971) for £7.
