In Sandpiper Books on Wednesday i purchased "All Poets Welcome. The Lower East Side Poetry Scene In The 1960's" by Daniel Kane (Univ.California Press) complete with recitals on a CD attached to the inside back of the book. It features Amiri Baraka,Frank O'Hara,John Ashberry,Jackson Mac Low,Allen Ginsberg, and much more. Only £4.99.

Finally got "American Primitive Vol.2" a double CD on Revenant which was the last compilation John Fahey did of pre-war blues and gospel music. Resident had the last copy of it.

Got another free Tate magazine from last year via Stephen at Brighton Books. Intersting articles esp. on Psychodelic lighting with a reminiscence by Robert Wyatt of a particlarly incendary lighning background to a Soft Machine gig.

Did another Tesco at Caterham and then over to georgina's for a focus group. Earned £45.

Possibly will go to the Fonontone box set.

Today i did another Tesco in Lewes. Bought two secondhand books from a shop on the main high street. Both by Martin Amis "London Fields" and "Visiting Mrs. Nabokov" for only £3.00 total.

Picked up some tickets for the May Festival this morning, and a cheap CD from Snoopers - Brian Eno "The Shutov Assembly" (All Saints) for £4.

On the way back from Lewes popped over to the Sussex University Campus to get my Guardian for only 25p,and today came with a free DVD (from Sunday's Observer of "Dune" and a free book as well - J G Ballard's "Crash".

Had a cheap pint at The East Slope BAa as well before going home.
