Bank Holidays - don't you just hate them sometimes. Sometimes they are okay but most often annoying.

Below is some nice CD covers - esp.the GO Cinemania series from Japan's Polystar record label. "Punch The Guy","Young Turks" and "Take A Walk on The Psychodelic Side".All three Cd's are wild musical excursions into the sound of Jap films from the sixties and seventies.

Also,the Thai Beat A GoGo series is brilliant esp. Vol.2 & 3.

Checked out Snoopers to see if any of my stuff has sold and added some other LP's to the stock. Looks like the Clicker has gone, the pens went to the staff there, and one LP sold i believe - the "Cumberland Moonshine" LP. Also popped into Brighton Books as Stephen was working there today. Stroked Simeon the cat quite a few times and noticed he had many admirers today. I must remember to bring the camera with me so i can put Simeon on the blog site. Stephen was playing the Alpha Boys CD,Prayers From Hell and a Fela Kuti CD. His knowledge of muisc from the seventies and eighties is very impressive esp. the more obscure or weird stuff.

In general didn't do much today. Found my DVD-R of George Kuchar films which i transferred from video. It was the "Colour Me Lurid" release from quite some years ago. Thought i lost it. Think i will do a nice DVD cover for the front - a collage - perhaps.

Did a nice cover for a Glenn Gould video onto DVD and used part of a cartoon for that one and the booklet from the video superimposed on top of the cartoon.

I miss the Cinesonic features in the Wire in which i got to read about the Cinemania series and the Italian EasyBeat collections,as well as reviews of soundtracks to David Lynch films such as "Mulholland Drive".

Might watch the Glenn Gould and Kuchar DVD's later tonight as there is little interest for me on TV on Mondays.Look forward to seeing the Daniel Johnston movie at the Duke of Yorks.

A bit skint at the moment so couldn't afford to do much.
