The Tuesday Ten
May. 2nd, 2006 07:53 pmBradxxx has done a daily playlist so i might do one at least three times a week if i'm bothered - that is.
So here we go
1/ Brian Eno - The Shutov Assembly CD (fine ambient chill)
2/ Oneness of Juju - African Rhythm (Strut CD) - funky baby!
3/ Brian Eno - Music For Airports CD (more chilled ambiance)
4/ Autechre - Amber CD (a classic from early nineties)
5/ Bobby Conn and The Glass Gypsies - The Homeland CD (good stuff from 2003)
6/ Peggy Lee - Fever 7"
7/ Juliette Greco - La Femme LP
8/ Arto Lindsay - Salt CD
9/ Cymande - Bra (LP) - a classic funk groove from the seventies
10/ Punch The Guy - Various (Jap CD) - cool cool movie soundtrack music.
Some new ones , some from the previous playlist, but still a fine variety.
Had a quick coffee with GC this morning before doing some work. Margaret Wallace phoned to see if i could take over a job here in Brighton for a lady who had done her back in.I said yes as Marketing Sciences pay every two weeks so you never have long to wait for your money.
Just had a thought - won't do a playlist for Wednesday but how about a Thurday Twelve or a Saturday Six. Hmm!
Listening to this Bobby Conn CD as i write. bought it for £1.99 in Resident's sale and it really is very good. Produed by John McIntyre of Tortoise fame.
Put a bit more stuff into the stall at Snoopers as well.Posted off an LP to Australia as well from an Ebay sale.
