Wet day and Sunny day and Simeon
May. 7th, 2006 06:06 pmYesrterday i was glad to be inside William Hills doing a survey about football beting as it poured quite heavily with rain. It was the Western Road branch, and once finished decided to go straight home.Listened to some blugrass and stuff from The Fontone set and watched the DVD "Searching For The Wrong-Eyed Jesus".
Today was totally different - much sunnier and warmer - and did a street survey in Brighton in the North Laines area. AT Brightion Books, Paul's cat , Simeon , was in the window laying on top df some books and getting photogrraphed again. I didn't have the digital camera with me so had to do with a mobile phone photo of him.

Unfortunately she just looks like a black blob in the picture. Next time i will amke sure i have the camera.

Actually photos from the camera phone are not as good as photos from the Canon camera as per the photo of myself shown here.
Whilst in the North Laines i swapped a 4 for 2 deal at Across The Tracks - the two CD's i got are Linval Thompson "Don't Cut Off Your Dreadlocks" (Trojan 2CD's) and John Coltrane "Interstellar Sapce" (Impulse CD). Excellent stuff.

By the way hearing alot of Vashti Bunyon these days , the title track to "Just Another Diamond Day" from her debut album from 1970 has now been snatched by a T Moble TV advert as backgorund music to the ad. Lovely track though.
Now can anyone tell me which Devendra tune Cathedral Cheese uses in their advert and from whch Banhart album it is from? I know the answer and gaveyou a slight clue as to the artist - tell me the rest and get brownie points.
I wonder when we will get another quiz from Steviecat?

Oh and this is a moving image picture sent to my phone some tim ago. Somewhat naoughty and silly i know but i find it abit amusing (if not PC - so what!).
