Listening to Mike Bradsahw's The Daily Show on http://totallyradio.com/ and it is really very good. You can also print out the playlists from the site.Must mention his excellent livejournal as well under the monicker of Bradxx.

Well at my second stallholders meeting with Rowan and the guys found that i had made £6 profit after taking off the fortnightly rent of £13.So in total i sold £19 worth of items and all that in the second week of trading.

By the way Brad the Gil Scott Heron track "Home Is Where The Hatred Is" is a killer groove, and the Esther Phillips version is cool too.And any MC5 track is fine by me.
Gave back to Brad his double 12" remixes of a hip-hop tune with remixes by the excelent Squarepusher,Funkstorung and Autechre.

Added some more stuff to the stall this morning. Two Icon Books ,one on Tiffany glassware and one on London Style, plus a zine and a couple of 7" singles. Keeping the area tidy is the biggest problem and little space to display all our wares. I was going to put a Ben Watson pamphlet in for sale but showed it to Stephen at the bookshop, and he bought it straight away from me.I had two copies of it and kept the other one.

Swapped some stuff at Across The Tracks which meant i didn't have to lay out any money and got the latest Pressure Sounds CD "More Pressure Vol.1 - Straight To The Head" - brillaint reggae and dub comp.

Other recent items are "Interstellar Space" by John Coltrane and from Notting Hill's Record Exchange Sunburned Hand Of The Man bootleg CD - the purple one which originally was only a vinyl release.Talking of siad shop they still have that LAFMS box set which i would love to get.

Looked at the Spirit of Orr website to see what Sunburned Hand stuff was available and looked again at the Smithsonian Folkways website.

Currently reading "Plunderphonics Patahysics + Pop Mechanics - An Introduction to Musique Actuelle" by Andrew Jones (SAF Publishing). Had the book for years and only just got round to reading it - bought it in Clapham Junvtiom for a £1 from the shop just beyond Dub Vendor.

Worked inside Wickes at Hove doing a survey but getting trade people to stop for a survey was proving difficult again. DIYers were easier to recruit as usual.

GC is on holiday as from today for a week in sunny Italy.

Another fine day - sunny and quite warm - and i have a summer cold. DAMN IT!!

Decided to play an old Kraftwerk CD - the one called "Man Machine" and the sperb "The Model" track this evening before listening to Brads online radio show.

Then i dug out a DVD-R of an old South Bank Show documentary called "Put Blood In The Music" featuring the music of John Zorn and Sonic Youth. I recorded this TV programme from an old VHS tape and the quality is quite good.It is a fascinating documentary as well.

Good night.
