Lord Buckley and More Limericks

Another Lord Buckley item arrived in the post "Euphoria" (Vaya LP) in really nice condition. Sold the Sunburned DVD on Ebay for £12.30 plus two pounds postage and posted yesterday. So things are looking up again. Infact even got some work from Jill again after our recent murmurings about the paucity of work.

Two recent limericks from AWN made me laugh in reply to mine,reprinted below.


You saw the EB in the buff?
Say no more - that was more than enough.
When she says with a giggle
And we just want to wriggle
"That nice little job's just your stuff"

The papers arrive 3 weeks later
The quota's impossible data
Where are these AB's
Who eat prawns with green cheese,
EB says "Just get out there and keep looking,
there wouldn't be a survey about it if they didn't exist"

Crime Survey Still Going

Today did more on the Crime survey in Croydon's West Thornton area,which is part of Thornton Heath actually,home of ReR Megacorp (Chris Cutler's label). Actually, 1 went to see if Mr.Cad photo shop was still there at Windmill Road and to my surprise it was although the Whitgift centre shop has long gone. The reason foe this is that many many years ago i was manager of the Brighton outlet of Mr.Cad.

Done over 40 interviwes on the crime survey - 220 to go - phew!! Trouble is the weather hasn't helped much at all. Dodging showers agian today.

Listened to AC Temple "Sourpuss" CD from 1989 this evening. Good noisy rock.

Didn't get time to get to the stallholders meeting as arrived late at home. Hope i have made enough and not end with a negative.
