The lovely GC has secured a better payment for the GIN job tomoroow, once again looking after us all after the debacle of the cancellation last Thursday. God bless her.So not only do we get the fee but twice it for the cancellation. GC we worship the ground yo move upon - ete etc etc.

The EB is on holiday again tomorrow - so soon after her last joint. What capers has she pulled and wangled to do this then? Whom has the Witch of the South fleeced this time - the poor Nigerians getting only a half day pay for a full days work or getting her "daughter" to do her hall tests for her. Probably both and lots more beside.

Bloodsucker supremo,that's what!!

Or the version with a pirate's eye patch. pirate of MR!!

Shiver me timbers.Ghosts would be scared as well.

Now children, can you sing along with me this little ditty by Gilbert and Sullivan rejigged from one of their famous operettas.

Look its Barbara doing her voodoo dance
Even scaring The Pirates of Penzance
She will scre wyou to the ground
Unitl your whimpering has no sound
Pleas please deport her to France.

Heard a new football chant yesterday on the lines of "If you hate Barbara clap your hands (repeat words and clap),etc".

And now for a limerick

Barbara Barbara o what can the matter be?
Is it because you lost your supervisor's fee?
Well the consequences is dire
if you must play with fire
And we all smile in glee.

Rant over.

Yes ,well thought that it's been a crap week ,and a crap day despite being fairly sunny (which should make you happy).Got the blues from stuff that will not be exposed here.So sod off if you plug away. Read Bradxxx's weird dreams piece on his blog today. Man you are so strange, but in a nice way.

Been going through my back catalogue of sounds and discovered once again the great Bing Selfish and The Ideals CD "Binging It All Back Home" - it's bloody brilliant and lyrically superb, funny and oh so spot on,plus other gems from the past.

Put some more books on the stall. Our next stallholders meeting is tomorrow evening before i go off for the gin tasting night.

So without further mastication here is tha list of dem blues.

1/ Bing Selfish and The Ideal - Binging it All Back Home (Out of Depression CD)
2/ Lowell Fulson - My First Recordings (Arhoolie 1997 CD)
3/ Various Artists - Sounds of Sudan (World Circuit 1990 CD)
4/ Cheikh Lô - Lamp Fall (World Circuit 2005 CD)
5/ Joe McPhee - Linear B (Hat Art CD)
6/ Harry Stoneham - Laia Ladaia/Cinnamon and Clove (LP "High Power Hammond" )
7/ Albert Ayler - Spirits Rejoice (ESP CD)
8/ Art Ensemble of Chicago - Tutankhamun (Black Saint CD)
9/ Swamp Dogg - Total Destruction To Your Mind (Contempo 7" single)
10/ The Parliaments - I Wanna testify (Revilot 7" single)

Music to bring you out of the blues - from classic soul, to free jazz and skewed weird pop.

The alterantive to this would have been the darkest metal - perhaps.

New blog site to go to folks so please support him,my older brother at http://coming42.livejournal.com/ 'caus his interests are books and film and should be a good read.

The 50p Harry Stoenham Lp is proving to be a great find and seems to improve with each spin, and track four side two (as detailed in my plalist) is a real workout, and could grace any rare grooves or jazz disco night,if so inclined.great cover too of a young lady on a motorbike,a bit like the young Marianne Faithfull in the film "Girl On A Motorbike".

Watched the Prince film "Purple Rain" over the weekend - bought the DVD for 50p on Saturday. Worth it just to see Apollonia in the naked flesh as she bathes in a lake. The film is very eighties though and somewhat dated. Still , i have decided to auction it on Ebay together with the other cheap finds.

Did a few mystery shops so that is why i am home early. Back to Croydon tomorrow, then the Snoopers meet at the Gloucester and the gin tasting later. Phew!
