Shit and Balderdash
Jun. 27th, 2006 03:26 pmWell folks had problems with the old internet and currently using a netshop - Mail Boxes in Western Road. And on Apple e-Mac- ugh!
Hopefully it will be resolved soon by an NTL technician but until then i am in the same situation as Steviecat.
Did the okd Tesco Shoreham on this stupid yogurt job ,the one with the new pack designs. Totally boring job.
But work is so short at the moment that you will almost do any old shit to earn the dough.
Popped into Snoopers to see Rowan's efforts at the stall. Quite impressed actually. Put some more zines in a space dedicated to such things. looks good and they should sell there.
Picked up a Napalm Death LP from stall 23 the other day for £3 from 1992 on the Earache label.It is probably worth more as the last time i saw it on Ebay it was selling at £15.
Had a call from Plus 4 - another company i have heard little from recently. The problem is thta too many companies have switched to the internet cutting out supervisors and field staff msking it more of a problem finding work for the rest of us. I fear for the worst - i just hope i am wrong.
Even the Plus 4 job is at sp short notice.Job sent tomorow to complete by Thursday for a group in Wimbledon on friday. Pays well though, so i had to take it
Still no cheque from IFC and the Consumer bubble fiasco is now (hopefully settled) by them sending a cheque,which i demanded to be sent FIRST CLASS.
Like i said before some of these trashy companies screw you into the ground.
