Ticking Over
Aug. 3rd, 2006 07:51 amWell done about half of the ice cream aurvey and will place the last three today, collecting questionnaires from respondents Monday next. Also done a bit more of the climate change survey,so a productive day again.
Spoke to EB again as i heard that there is another job from Facts International coming up but she is still denying work is available from them. How starnge? Still, ticking over nicely with more work from Marketing Sciences (such as this ice cream job and two Tesco's),and one from Sandra Booth last night, four days on chewing gum (which i did before quite recently). Also in Saltdean (again) on Saturday to do with leaflets dropped inside the local Leader free newspaper.
Mind you, whilst ticking over i would like it to be busier,as compared to the previous year, it is awfully quiet at the moment ,and it is only due to my tenacious attitude to job procurement (such as the ice cream job),and being proactive, constantly ringing around all my contacts, that i am ticking over okay.
GC is on a one week break up in Edinburgh. She took a flight up from Gatwick yesterday. When she gets back we decided to thumb through the Qualitative Directory and Handbook for companies in this field (depth interviewing, focus groups etc) as the money is often better, using her place as the hub of activity esp. for hosting focus groups, with myself and AWN as group recruiters.
I love groups. The last one i did was the gin study, which was held at a hotel in Hove and we got £80 in our hands for discuusing about the finer points of gin,and taste testing new versions of Plymouth gin.You could say i am one of GC's groupies!
