Well completed another review for WEIRDSOUNDZ, my forgotten or lost music site, which is well worth reading )plug plug plug). This time the wonderful Langley Schools Music Project CD is being highlighted.

Popped to London for a visit yesterday, and looked around the Soul Jazz record shop, picked up a latin funk-soul CD "Ocho" by Ocho for only £2.99. They also have Ocho 2 and 3 at the same cheap prices. Found a few more 50p or less paperbacks for the stall, including a collection of short stories by Poppy Z Brite "Self-Made Man".

Visited the National Portrait Gallery as well. Haven't been there for ages.

Noticed in Borderline over the weekend they have a Tiny Tim box set. I wonder if Stephen noticed the said same set.

I will have to do a list of the most unusual items in my collection.

Found four fine LP's at Oxfam in the North Laines today fro £2 each, and all in lovely condition - Pierre Boulez conducts Frank Zappa "The Perfect Stranger" (EMI LP 1984), Pierre Boulez conducts Edgar Varese "Arcana,Ameriques,Ionisation" (CBS LP 1978), The London Saxophone Quartet (Transatlantic 1975 LP), and Charles Austin and Joe Gallivan "Ailana" (Hannibal LP 1985). A couple of these will be stallbound, most likely the Varese set and the London Saxophone Quartet ones.

Also, from the back room from Sandpiper Books two £1 books, "The Clash" by David Quantick (Thunder Mouth Press) and "Biopic : Iggy Pop" by Gavin Evans (Canongate 2003) hardback (retailing at £12.99!!).

These two will also be stallbound at some point.
