What a totally crap wet day and windy at times - and we had a tornado as well over the weekend near to Brighton Pier - no wonder we had terrential rain, thunder and lightning last night. Goes to prove that the warmer weather is causing more extreem weather.
Consequently not a day to do door to door surveys. Mostly been at home listening to some records and CD's and exchanged some down at Across The Tracks. In the exchange picked up MC5 "Kick Out The Jams" (Elektra) and "The Very Best of The Last Poets" (Snapper CD).
Guardian in G2 has a nice long article on independent record shops ,with Rough Trade being hailed as the best of them. Brighton's own Rounder Records got in the article, but no mention of Borderline or Across The Tracks. Perhaps we could email the Guardian some suggestions.

A trip to London to some of those mentioned, esp. those i have not heard of,should be on the cards when i get the chance again.
