Picked up two CD's cheap from Borderline today - "Bod , Words And Music" (Trunk ) £4, and "Stranded In The USA,Early Songs of Emigration" (Trikont CD) for only £6 - it has been on my want list for quite awhile, and i have ben waiting for this one to be reduced from its original £12.99 price tag. Both items were in their clearance section.
Also latest Plan B magazine with a free CD sampler - first time for them! It is now a monthly magazine rather than bimonthly, and i wish it well.
Finished off all the washing powder placements for Peter Baker today and then a stint at East Grinstead outside Willia Hill for ISL.
It has quite a dry day today after the recent wet weekend and Monday's downpour. However we still have a hosepipe ban.
With Dr.Who not being screened (except repeats) on the air at the moment i wondered when the new scifi ssries "Torchwood" would start and for awhile had only seen a press release of it from the BBC Press Office. However, roaming in Googleland i now know it starts on October 28th on BBC3 at 9pm with the actor who played Captain Jack Black in the Christopher tennant series of Dr.Who. I shall look forward to it.

Those, like myself, who still crave to get the 4CD set "The Conet Project" )Irdial) will no longer have to search as the whole project is downloadable as individual free mp3's from
http://www.archive.org/details/ird059
complete with a history of these ethereal shortwave sounds captured
and backround info. A truly great resource although it doesn't feature all 150 tracks from the set but a good cross section and links to other sites. The oficial Irdial Conet website is at
http://www.irdial.com/conet.htm
The new Quadrant pub reopened last Thursday but now it is a Barracuda pub, and hence in their style,is all too modern for me.Had one pint in there which wasn't cheap. I rememebr it years ago as a great student friendly pub with a welcoming landlord. Now it has lost that sense of adventure and convivial atmosphere. So it is still the Evening Star or Trafalgar for me.Drinkers pubs bar none.
Rained first thing this morning but today i will indoors in Chichester for the Tourist Information Centre, so the waether will not be a hindrance.
Will take an art book with me to read on the train and in quiet moments.
