Lewes Bargains!!

Two mystery shops this morning - one in Lewes (at Cafe Nero) and one in the Lewes Road,Brighton (Comet) both for TNS. Anyways whilst in Lewes popped into Riks Disks and bought some Lp's and Cd;s very cheaply - Dory Previn Lp for £1,a Judie Tzuke Live double Lp on Chrysalis for 50p and two CD;s both £1.99 each - Shane MacGowan and the Popes "The Snake" (ZTT 1994) and Ranking Joe "Dub It In A Dance" (Trojan 2004).
Nice one. Shame about the weather.

DVD Recording problems

Damn nuisance - the DVD recorder decided to pack up a few days ago and still is not working - stays on for a few minutes then turns itself off losing any recording you might be making or even playing back something you might have recorded earlier.That means Lorna can't record her soaps when she is doing a late shift. So it is  either a repair or a new one,and it is out of its guarantee period so it might be cheaper opting for a new one.

So not only has Tiggy had a problem (her cold and sneezing etc) but now we have a sick DVD recorder and all this just after Xmas when money is tight and you just can't afford to extend your credit. Blah blah oh bloody blah!!

So i might have to opt for a cheapo recorder then when funds are back in healthy proportions upgrade it to a decent one. See how things go - but as they say - things happens in threes - so what next might happen? I  really do not know.
